All of our Ottoman bases are British made and are made of solid MDF wood including the bottom giving it a very strong storage base with gas lift struts to keep up the storage lid in a variety of fabrics, damask, velour, and wool and colours and sizes with glides for feet. The hybrid version is a half storage base option which gives you more cubic space than a standard two drawer base, this base is compatible with pocket sprung or memory foam mattresses due to the half opening action. The base is already constructed, for larger sizes the base comes in two halves and bolt and clip together. For the extra storage needed an ottoman base with gas lift struts may be the option to go for with an end opening. Sizes available  4′, 4’6, 5′, 6′. Matching colour headboards are available.
